We have an immediate vacancy for the Total Productive Management Coordinator in Port Moresby who will be reporting to the Brewery Manager in supporting continuous improvement across all E2E Supply Chain operations by aligning our people, processes and performance efficiency with a strong focus on safety, quality and performance

 

 The T.P.M. Coordinator coordinates, organizes and supports the execution of all required continuous improvement activities for T.P.M. implementation according to the overall strategic T.P.M. plan and translated into day-to-day execution leading to the results as defined by Heineken TPM agenda.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Steering Committee in the Master plan definition (to be provided by the management) and execution of the overall T.P.M. project plan such as: time, budget, FTE’s, attention, communication
  • Identify and support improvements in daily operations
  • Work with teams to simplify processes and remove inefficiencies
  • Help translate the overall business goals into practical actions on the shopfloor
  • Coordinate improvement initiatives across departments
  • Track performance metrics and support problem solving
  • Support the development of T.P.M. training-plan for the brewery based on T.P.M. skill-matrix
  • Organize and execute training for team leaders and operators in production, based on need-analysis
  • Train T.P.M. team-members on basic T.P.M. concepts, tools and skills and provide support in applying them
  • Provide the management with advice and support during implementation of T.P.M.; asked and unasked
  • Facilitate T.P.M. team-meetings and support team-members with their improvement actions
  • Organize and execute measurements on the line; independently or in cooperation with T.P.M. team-members
  • Coordinate and participate to all the audit activities and take charge of the Reporting systems
  • Encourage a culture of ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement

 

Eligibility

  • Attains a bachelor’s degree in engineering, or applied science (Chemistry, Food Science)
  • Must have 3-4 years of experience in a supervisory role. 
  • Experience with structured productivity and continuous improvement (manufacturing/operational excellence) frameworks
  • Able to manage data requirements of the organization and ensuring that they are implemented.
  • Technically sound in data processing concepts
  • Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel & Word)
  • Strong communication, planning and coordination skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change or challenge and work under pressure.
  • Will possess and demonstrate the right attitude/behaviors/traits and is willing to learn.
  • Possess a strong work ethic with business growth mindset.
  • Work under minimum supervision, reliable and trustworthy.
  • Has career growth mindset.
