JOB DESCRIPTION
o Ensure all customers consistently carry the full SPB Portfolio of products.
o Identify product ranging and points of execution gaps across outlets and negotiate with business owners and or managers to achieve picture of success standards.
o Monitor sales performance across all outlets and categories and foster relationships with Business owners / management as well as key personnel to ensure sales volumes are maximized, and that SPB products are served according to company presentation and quality guidelines.
o Ensure proper execution of customized promotions and local ground activities with post evaluation results.
o Ensure that New Product development and distribution priorities in line with company objectives are met.
o Ensure that SPB recommended retail pricing is compliant and in line with SPB indexed pricing guidelines.
o Actively ensure account is fully stocked with all relevant brand /pack types and manage the proper rotation of stock throughout outlet and fridges using first in first out (FIFO) guidelines.
o Monitor freshness across outlets and ensure that preventative plans and measures are in place to avoid issues.
o Ensure that all sales reporting tasks are completed and submitted on time.
o Execute outlet specific customer volume driving activities where required to enhance trade standards, sales and customers relationships.
o Manage all trade marketing POSM requirements for outlets in conjunction Marketing.
o Provide market intelligence on competitor activities and threats to trading and submit detailed reports and evidence through to management.
o Ensure the timely collection of payments from credit customers and take responsibility in proactively following up on accounts falling into arrears.
o Implement optimal in store execution using 8 step call process, execution checklists & Picture of success.
o Update and input data on sales tablet every outlet visited. Provide stakeholders with timely information on the effectiveness of promotions implemented.
o Monitor market for new entrants/threats to business Reports on competitors’ sales, promotion activities, pricing, new brands, terms of Trade, distribution, etc.
o Ensure freshness standards are monitored and feed back to stakeholders.
o Ensure timely delivery of reports to respective stakeholders Co-ordinate information collection and processing with respective stakeholders.
o Ensure the company’s cold beer equipment/assets are utilized effectively by having the correct equipment in each outlet to maximize sales of cold beer.
o Must demonstrate a preventative and proactive behavior towards safety and ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
o Drive & monitor sales performance across the territory, develop relationships with Business owners / management and key personnel to ensure sales volumes are maximized, and that SPB products are served according to company presentation and quality guidelines.
o Execute outlet specific customer volume driving activities where required to enhance trade standards, sales and customers relationships.
o Ensure timely delivery of reports to respective stakeholders.
Eligibility
• Current class 3/6 driver’s license – DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CURRENT LICENCE
• Tertiary qualification diploma or degree in business management is well regarded, some experience in sales is necessary.
• Strong communication & planning skills.
• Ability to adapt to change or challenge and work under pressure.
• Will possess and demonstrate the right attitude/behaviors/traits and is willing to learn.
• Possess a strong work ethic with business growth mindset.
• Work under minimum supervision, reliable and trustworthy
• Career minded, has career growth mindset.
• Current Police Clearance.
