Position Vacant:                              Regional Sales Manager – Southern Region

We have an immediate requirement for a Regional Sales Manager - Southern Region reporting to the Sales Manager – Cluster. 

 

The incumbent will be responsible for perfect execution at the outlet level to drive sell-out, responsible for the execution of Picture of Success (PICOS) guidelines and trade activities at outlet level, responsible for the execution of the RTC strategy pertaining to Execution Excellence and responsible for leading a team of regional sales execution managers and sales representatives.

 

Key duties include:

  • Drive discipline in Call compliance and PICOS guidelines for Availability, Visibility, Quality and Price to optimize commercial execution in the outlet. 
  • Drive discipline in following the steps of the visit to maximize output of every visit
  • Execute trade activities such as consumer promotions or activations at the outlet to increase sell-out
  • Support outlet opening initiatives to increase the outlet universe
  • Optimize routing to ensure maximum visited coverage
  • Guide and coach the team members in their career development and optimal execution of their roles
  • Committed and sensitive to market demands and changes. Able to recommend solutions to the Commercial Team.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • University Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Statistics
  • 10+ years’ experience in Sales and Marketing operations preferably in the FMCG environment
  • Able to communicate at all job levels and articulate in presentations
  • Knowledge in analytics, strategy, budgeting, performance evaluation
  • Possess a Driver’s license.
  • Tertiary or professional qualification
  • Computer Literacy - Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI skills
  • Knowledge in Sales Operations, issues, customers’ needs and market conditions.
  • Able to work independently and yet be a good team player
  • Self-starter highly motivated, confident with unyielding perseverance.
  • Commercially inclined with good business acumen.
