We have an immediate requirement for Project Engineer, based in Port Moresby, reporting to the OPCO Engineering Manager.

The Project Engineer is responsible for managing small projects to get the best quality within budget and time. Be the interface between brewery engineering and project team for major projects Manage handover of project deliverables to operational teams Responsible for maintenance of buildings (outsourced)

Main Duties will include: 

• Completion of Projects Within time and budget agreed; monthly overview of cost and progress; immediate reporting of deviations 
• Cost Control in Projects Accurate cost overview at any moment
• Project support Information requests processed within agreed timeline Information requests processed within agreed timeline 
• Project completeness Up to date LOI 
• Project planning Gant chart for projects 
• Handover to operations Operational setup finished at handover 
• Civil maintenance Operational setup finished at handover 

Qualifications & Experience:

• Preferably Bachelor level in Engineering
• 3 - 5 years’ project management
• General Knowledge of Brewery Process, Engineering
• Additional courses on project management (e.g. IPMA, PRINCE)
