Brewing Supervisor

We have an immediate requirement for a Brewing Supervisor based in Port Moresby, reporting to the Brewing Manager.

The Brewing Supervisor apply safety agenda in the shift, while managing the entire process with the aim of reaching the planned quantities and production quality and improving the key performance indicators.  

 

 

Main Duties will include: 

  • Monitors and supervises that all activities are done in line with the HEINEKEN Safety, Food safety, Quality and Sustainability standards, in the respective shift.
  • Collects all the data from the process together with the Operators.
  • Monitors the hygienic, housekeeping and order in the shift, ensuring proper execution according to the approved standards and procedures.
  • Monitors and supervises that all the activities are done in line with the quality standards.
  • Collects all the data from the process together with the Operators.
  • Participates, monitors and supports the TPM way of working. Actively contributes in AM Brewing agenda.
  • Leads and supports the implementation of the improvement activities.
  • Controls execution of all Brewing operational processes.
  • Gives the support to the Operators in case of problems.
  • Ensures execution of the plans.
  • Use approved and predefined reporting and escalation lines in terms of anomalies and deviations from the standards and procedures.
  • Monitors and supervises if the production equipment is managed in the desired way (standard working condition)
  • Provides support to the Operators and seeks advice / help from managerial level where required.
  • Proposes the equipment modifications and provides feedback to higher level according to the internal standards and procedures.
  • Executes the agreed plans and strategy.
  • Collects data about the Operators’ performance. Gives feedback and input about the individuals’ performance.
  • Collects (or supports collecting) and processes basic data (information, data, records, etc.) and makes reports in line with the responsibility.
  • Provides reports on higher management level.
  • Follows production planning and supports needs of other Supply Chain departments (e.g., Packaging, Warehouse).
  • Ensures optimal use of the resources.
  • Follows the execution of the agreed plans.

 

Qualification & Experience:

  • Preferred Bachelor education level.
  • 1 - 3 years beverage technological experience and managing of people.
  • Brewing / Quality of Brewing / Biotechnology / FMCG production management, etc.
  • People management. Managing winning teams.
  • TPM / Lean / 6 Sigma, etc.
