Our Timaru brewery is a busy, dynamic, and safety-focused workplace where everyone’s committed to working together to brew the very best drop. Our team are looking for a registered Electrician/Instrumentation Technician to join them, bringing with them proven experience in a manufacturing environment with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. It’s a great environment for someone who enjoys pitching in as part of a team, can roll with change when it happens, and responds quickly to problems or issues when they arise.
This role will use your training and experience to the full, challenging you not only with installations, repairs, maintenance, fault finding and root cause analysis, but also working closely with the team to help them understand faults, cause-and-effect, and working as part of a wider team focused on eliminating breakdowns and continuous improvement.
You’ll be a strong, positive communicator who has a keen eye for detail and accuracy, is able to make good decisions under pressure and can achieve results by engaging and taking others with them on a journey. You’ll also need to demonstrate a strong commitment to health & safety practices, have good computer literacy (MS Outlook, Word & Excel) and of course hold a NZ electrician registration with a current practicing licence.
