Activation Merchandiser - Queenstown

 Location: Queenstown
Function: Commerce
Sub-Function: Commerce - Sales - Wholesale
Type of Contract: Fixed Term

  • 40 hours work across 18 – 31 December supporting our peak period!
  • Join a supportive and high performing team

When you join DB Breweries, you join the global HEINEKEN whanau, where everyone is encouraged to be themselves, contribute their ideas, learn and grow as part of one of the largest beer and cider brewing companies in the world spanning 70 countries.  We’re an equal employment opportunity workplace because we believe diverse views make great brews, and our culture is very much reflected in our four values:

  • Passion for consumers and customers
  • Care for people and planet
  • Enjoyment of life
  • Courage to dream and pioneer

DB also plays an active part in New Zealand’s fair pay efforts by openly reporting on and addressing gender pay gaps while contributing to and supporting the great work being done with the Pacific Pay Gap Inquiry.

Our Activation Merchandisers play a pivotal role in us maintaining our world-class standards and keeping our customers and consumers happy.  This 'grass roots' role will introduce you to the world of FMCG and sales where you'll gain a strong understanding of our industry and develop the skills you need to succeed.  We’re well known for providing career advancement to people who live our values, show the drive and commitment, and deliver on expectations so, if you want it, a career trajectory is available to you at DB!

We’re looking for an Activation Merchandiser to support our peak period on a contract role working in our Queenstown sales region – working 40 hours between 18 – 31 December. You'll be the face of DB/Heineken's image in the market, so you’ll need to be someone who can build strong relationships and take a customer-centric approach.  You may already have merchandising experience, although this isn’t essential… it’s more important to us that you take pride in your work, have a positive outlook and that you’re resilient, reliable and self-motivated.

The role requires reasonable physical fitness as you’ll be building displays, filling shelves, and organising stock meaning some heavy lifting is required.

You’ll work 40 hours across the period of 18 – 31 December.

If this sounds like you, don’t hesitate and apply today!

At HEINEKEN, we brew great beers and we build great brands.  We’re committed to surprising and exciting our consumers and employees everywhere.  We have a proud history and heritage in brewing and in our communities.  With operations in over 70 markets globally, we are the world's most international brewer.  https://careers.theheinekencompany.com
