About the role
As a Territory Manager, you’ll own customer relationships across your assigned territory and drive sales performance end to end. You’ll build strong partnerships with outlets, execute sales and activation plans, and ensure excellent in‑store execution. The role focuses on growing value and volume, delivering high customer satisfaction, activating NPD and promotions, and achieving volume, value, and GDM targets.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing and growing customer relationships within your territory.
- The role is focused on supporting the traditional liquor channel, primarily bottle stores.
- Executing all sales cycle objectives, including pricing, promotions, activations, and product ranging
- Implementing customer and banner‑level account plans
- Delivering best‑in‑class in‑store execution
- Activating new products and ensuring fast speed‑to‑market
- Acquiring new customers and renewing existing outlet agreements
- Achieving volume, value, and profit targets
- Providing consistently high levels of customer service
What you’ll bring
- 1–2+ years’ experience in a sales or customer‑facing role (FMCG preferred)
- Proven relationship‑building capability
- Results‑driven and self‑motivated approach
- Strong organisation and time‑management skills
- Confidence working independently in a field‑based role
- Tertiary qualification in Business (preferred, not essential)
- Full New Zealand driver’s licence (mandatory)
