About this job...
We are looking for someone who has a passion for Warehousing and Logistics – and has a keen eye for detail and administration. As Warehouse Administrator – Waitemata, you will be responsible for ensuring stock accuracy and assigning tasks to our Warehouse Operators. You will be responsible for goods receipting and goods issuing the Warehouse stock.
You will deliver the goods by:
- Executing activities according to the weekly plan.
- Checking incoming and outgoing goods against shipping documents.
- Performing root cause analysis on stock quality issues.
- Performing analysis for inventory discrepancies and bring discrepancies to the attention of the team leader for correction.
- Administrating Returnable Packaged Materials and registering site-loss within logistics.
- Identifying key improvements and implementing strategies to action improvements
- Championing Warehouse Health and Safety – being a proactive team member in this space
About you…
- High school completion/Polytech degree
- 2 years plus in Administration or Logistics
- Microsoft Office suite knowledge: intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of inventory management systems – at DB we use SAP
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills – with an ability to meet deadlines
- Strong organisational skills with a high attention to detail
