We Go Places! How about you?
Location: Auckland
Function: Commerce
Sub-Function: Commerce - Sales - Wholesale
Type of Contract: Fixed Term

This is a 5 month fixed term contract to cover an internal secondment for career development, an ASAP start through to September 2021.

At DB/Heineken, you’ll be part of one of the largest beer and cider brewing companies in the world. With more than 250 brands in 70 countries, we’re behind many Kiwis’ favourite brews – probably even yours. So things just got very interesting for your career.

This role is responsible for increasing DB's value share by building strong customer relationships, achieving objectives, and executing brand standards in outlets throughout South Canterbury.

You'll need to have a convincing sales background with an energy and drive that will really engage with our customers and ensure a sustained and successful relationship going forward.

A reputable field sales background in the FMCG industry is preferable. Ideally you will have also had exposure in dealing with grocery, retail liquor, and on premise customers.

To succeed in this role you'll need to be commercially savvy - understand the business world and have the intellectual ability to thrive amongst it.

Being a strong negotiator and driving results is key, however it's your ability to develop effective business relationships with our key customers that will set you apart from the rest.

Opportunities don’t get much better than this. You’ll join a fun environment, with enthusiastic people who care about a good drop. We value innovation and individuality – it’s a place where you can feel free to be yourself, and be confident to share your ideas about how we can be even better. And sustainability’s a key part of how we do business, because we know that a company of our size has both the influence and the responsibility to consider our impact.

If that sounds good to you, there’s more. Career progression opportunities at DB/Heineken are limitless, so if you’ve got a thirst for adventure it’s the place to be. You’ll find opportunities to work across different brands, business units and roles.

At DB we aspire to be the best place in NZ to work so we can offer you:

  • Competitive remuneration;
  • Professional development and training including exceptional leadership development
  • Diverse projects and the ability to work with multi-disciplinary co-workers;
  • A supportive, high performing team environment;
  • Free parking!

Take this opportunity to work for one of New Zealand's most iconic companies who brew and market some of NZ's favourite beer, cider & RTD brands. ‘Brewing a Better New Zealand’ means brewing better people with the heart of our company in our 3 values:

  • Respect for People and for the Planet
  • Passion for Quality
  • Enjoyment of Life

We are continuing our journey to becoming an inclusive workplace, as we know that diverse views make great brews! We also support flexible working that meets the needs of our people and the business.
