Technology Consultant - Infrastructure

Location: Auckland
Function: Digital & Technology
Sub-Function: Information Services - Master Data Management
Type of Contract: Permanent

  • Support our digital and technology transformation

  • Welcoming and inclusive team with great employee benefits

We’ve recently undergone a transformation in our Digital & Technology space, moving from a system-focused team to one that’s customer-oriented, and we’re excited to bring some new faces into our expanded team.

The Technology Consultant – Infrastructure role is responsible for ensuring infrastructure availability, performance and security to support the business needs. In practice this means managing local and global hosting and network support teams and working with global Product Owners to keep systems running securely and to manage the delivery of new infrastructure technology products. You will also work closely with global security teams to ensure that our digital environment is secure.

Success in this role will rely on your technical background, understanding of networks and hosting, and the ability to partner with a variety of local and global vendors in this arena. You’ll be happy working for a global organisation who provides guidance on various aspects of the frameworks and systems we utilise and perhaps have worked in this type of environment previously.

We’re excited that our transformation journey has begun and we’re really keen to speak with people who share that excitement and come with a flexible, adaptable mindset to support us on the way.

In return for your commitment and capability, and as part of our aspiration to be the best place to work in NZ, we offer you:

  • Flexible work options.

  • Health, life and income protection insurances.

  • Competitive remuneration including a base salary and annual bonus.

  • Professional development and training including exceptional leadership development.

  • Diverse projects and the ability to work with multi-disciplinary co-workers.

  • A supportive, high performing team environment.

  • ‘Enjoyment of Life’ leave.

  • Monthly product allowance – yes, free beer!

  • Free car parking.

At DB, we brew the joy of true togetherness to inspire a better world.  A big part of that means brewing better people with the heart of our company in our four values:

We’re continuing our journey to becoming an inclusive workplace as we know that diverse views make great brews, and we support flexible working that meets the needs of our people and the business.

DB Breweries is an equal opportunity employer (EOE) and we’re committed to providing a working environment that embraces and values diversity and inclusion.  If you have any support or access requirements, we encourage you to advise us at the time of application to assist you through the recruitment process.
