As DB's Sales Merchandiser, your focus is on enhancing customer satisfaction and maximizing brand visibility through strategic merchandising techniques, utilizing data-driven insights to negotiate effectively and outshine competitors. Key duties involve nurturing customer relationships, meeting sales targets, supporting the wider team by covering vacant territories, and orchestrating weekly in-store samplings. Your aim is to consistently exceed customer expectations, foster clear communication within the team, and adhere to sales cycles and merchandising standards rigorously. Additionally, your role demands proactive planning for sales activations, accommodating scheduling needs, and tailoring sales pitches to diverse customer profiles while adeptly managing fluctuating sales patterns across various channels and segments.

 

Your background and experience:

  • A full New Zealand drivers’ licence is a mandatory requirement for this field sales role.
  • Tertiary qualification in business or commerce is preferred but not essential.
  • Previous customer service experience essential.
  • Merchandising and selling experience in FMCG (1-2 years) preferred.
