People Advisor - Talent

The People Advisor – Talent is the go-to expert for shaping DB’s talent strategy and amplifying our employment brand. You will deliver end-to-end recruitment processes, from sourcing to onboarding; lead flagship programmes such as the HEINEKEN Graduate Programme; and manage critical tools and technology, including recruitment and onboarding systems, the Recruitment Dashboard, and the budget. As a trusted partner to stakeholders, you will innovate sourcing methods, ensure compliance, and create exceptional candidate experiences. Beyond talent acquisition, this role offers the chance to grow into broader People functions contributing to employee relations, wellbeing, learning, performance management, and organisational development making a real impact on DB’s People Plan and culture.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead and deliver DB’s talent strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, values, and market trends.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from sourcing to onboarding, including leadership and global secondment roles, while ensuring compliance with DB and HEINEKEN policies and New Zealand employment law.
- Own and maintain critical tools and technology, including recruitment and onboarding systems, the Recruitment Dashboard, and the recruitment budget, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and financial oversight.
- Oversee internal & external recruitment channels, psychometric assessments, immigration processes, and global mobility requirements.
- Drive initiatives to strengthen DB’s employment brand and lead key programmes such as the HEINEKEN Graduate Programme.
- Act as the subject matter expert for MyHR Recruiting and deliver recruitment training to hiring managers.
- Collaborate on talent programmes, EVP projects, and apply global best practices to enhance DB’s talent acquisition outcomes.
- Support broader People initiatives including employee relations, wellbeing, learning, remuneration, and organisational development when workload allows.
What you will bring with you:
- Minimum 4-5+ years’ talent acquisition & management experience (agency or in-house) with strong knowledge of best practice and behavioural interviewing.
- Solid understanding of job seeker behaviours, motivators, and talent acquisition processes.
- Proven experience using recruitment technologies (SuccessFactors, Workday, ATS, CRM) and leveraging social media for business communication.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to coach and influence senior stakeholders.
- Highly organised with demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver projects effectively.
- Track record in managing employment branding and sourcing initiatives, including policy and process development.
- Must have full-time work rights in NZ
