This role is located in DB’s Waitemata brewery in Auckland. As part of Heineken globally we run a world class brewing operation in a modern, efficient, award winning brewery with a reputation for continuous improvement, innovation and quality.

 

As the Packaging Quality Specialist, you will contribute to the implementation of quality systems and procedures and propose possible improvements to management. You will lead teams to reduce quality losses, which contributes, to improvements and take corrective or preventative actions.

 

You will prevent quality issues in the whole packaging department and evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of tasks through developing training materials, training and coaching of team as well as document control.

Working as part of the wider supply chain team you will work closely with the Quality team as well as maintain close cooperation with materials suppliers, while also executing trials and testing in order to improve or implement new materials, products. 

 

You will be required to align with Heineken global requirements, compliance with, and achievement of World Class Brewing Organisation competencies. You will have the ability to influence and develop people as well as drive mind-set change and buy in when implementing new solutions, as well as working with process owners to learn current processes and identify gaps and generate solutions. You will be tertiary qualified in either food science, engineering or quality assurance or can demonstrate experience in an FMCG environment in a similar role.
