National Account Manager
Location: Auckland, New Zealand
Contract Type: Full-Time Permanent Contract
At DB Breweries, we’re on the lookout for a National Account Manager to drive growth and build strong partnerships within our traditional retail channels. This is a key role in developing promotional programs, managing account plans, and ensuring profitable results across allocated accounts.
How you’ll make a difference:
- Develop and execute account plans and promotional programs that align with our retail strategy.
- Manage monthly volume and profit forecasts, ensuring full-year targets are met.
- Build and maintain strong trading relationships with customers at all levels.
- Lead the annual customer planning process, driving profit, volume, trade spend, and market share.
- Oversee the sell-in of NPD and consumer promotions to maximise sales opportunities.
- Proactively manage trading terms across all allocated accounts.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through deep market and customer insights.
- Analyse and optimise promotional performance for effective ROI.
- Work collaboratively across departments to align strategies and set achievable sales targets.
- Provide timely, accurate, and insightful reporting on account performance.
- Manage and develop a Sales Support Executive, providing guidance on priorities and professional growth.
- Support field teams with the necessary tools to deliver on key execution priorities.
- Maintain 90% forecasting accuracy, ensuring alignment with demand management and S&OP processes.
What you’ll bring with you:

Tertiary qualification in a business-related field.

3-5 years’ experience in Liquor Industry or FMCG as an Account Manager or Business Manager, preferably with key account management experience and exposure to specialist or wholesale environments.

Strong category management expertise and experience using Nielsen reporting.
