Key Account Manager - Traditional

Reporting to the Traditional Channel Manager, the purpose of this role is to manage key account relationships while developing promotional programs and account plans in order to deliver on DB retail strategy and objectives.  You will be working with key traditional liquor clients and will be heavily involved in cycle planning and presenting our promotional programs to head office accounts with the goal to achieve account profit, volume and market share objectives.  You will also have exposure to/be involved in project work for this channel working closely with the Head of Retail and wider team.

As Key Account Manager, you will also be expected to effectively communicate insights back to your internal customers at DB to ensure volume and margin are maximised. These insight are used to identify opportunities in the market to drive successful growth for both retailers and our iconic brands.

Your strong negotiation skills and a drive for achieving top results, combined with a composed, customer focused attitude is key. However, to succeed in this role you’ll need to be commercially savvy – understanding the business world and have the ability to apply a strategic approach to build sustainable long-term growth.

Your category management knowledge and exposure to Nielson reporting, advanced Excel skills will ensure you succeed in this role and your experience in an FMCG industry will contribute to this success.
