Brewery Maintenance Technician - Electrical Trade (Day Shift Role)

We’re on the hunt for an experienced Electrical Brewery Maintenance Technician to join our Planned Maintenance team at DB Breweries’ Waitematā Brewery in Auckland. This is a Day-shift role where you’ll play a key part in keeping our brewing operations running safely and smoothly.
You'll be part of a team that ensures our electrical systems are reliable, safe, and always ready to support production of our much-loved brews.
What you’ll do:
- Execute planned electrical maintenance safely and on time
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimise downtime
- Support automation, process control, and TPM activities (AM, CILT)
- Collaborate with operators, planners, and other technicians
- Maintain compliance with all safety, food safety, and legal standards
What we’re looking for:
- Electrical Trade Certificate and LV certification (Communications, Power & Instrumentation preferred)
- 5+ years of electrical maintenance experience in food, beverage, or FMCG
- Strong fault-finding and process automation skills
- Knowledge of TPM and ability to support operator training
- Solid understanding of safe work practices (including LOTO)
- Willingness to join the On-Call roster (Weekends and public holidays)
- Willingness to work Weekends or different shifts from time to time (when required to complete critical maintenance activities)
- Willingness to support the Shift-Operational Maintenance team when required
- Must have valid New Zealand work rights
