Area Sales Officer
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
ASO position is the point of contact for the customer and handles the distribution of the brand or set of brands within assigned outlets. It is responsible for building and maintaining strong professional relationships with customers, ensuring visibility, achievement of sales targets and delivery of high quality customer service to all targeted channels.
RESPONSIBILITY

Maintains complete and accurate outlet record cards for all calls. Uses outlet record cards and a well-maintained sales folder to plan upcoming calls

Reviews journey plans when territory boundaries change. Specifies call frequency based on outlet sales but does not specify a journey pattern

Uses a number of questioning techniques to identify relevant customer needs and uses a prepared opening statement to engage the customer's interest. Presents features advantages and benefits of the proposition effectively, using selling tools. Summarizes key customer benefits succinctly before closing, using an appropriate closing technique

Follows the 6 Steps Outlet Execution Excellence process and works methodically to ensure that outlet specific A2QVP2 execution KPIs are executed exactly as required. Takes necessary actions to meet all cycle plan requirements. Resolves all compliance issues in consultation with the customer. Carries out all actions efficiently and managed time well

Uses outlet sales in the sales since the last call and activity forecasts to calculate a recommended order quantity. Takes into account low or out-of-stocks, seasonal requirements, special occasions and weekend trade to ensure adequate stock coverage. Applies considerations of stockholding limits, the timing of delivery and the next sales order and product freshness to ensure that order quantities are sufficient to meet the needs of shoppers, patrons and the customer

Prospects for new outlets routinely. Gathers information on outlets that are about to open in the territory and on outlets that are currently not buying from the company. Plans to make initial calls on prospects as part of the weekly call planning cycle, and ensures adequate time is allotted to meet with the potential customer and to conduct all administrative support. Prepares fully for the prospecting call, ensuring that appropriate materials and sales tools are available

Engages in structured negotiations that involve exchanging several variables to reach an agreement. Never exceeds agreed walk-away points, and uses variety of tactics to achieve goals. If agreement is made, confirms and agrees details. If not, agrees next steps

Follows an agreed-upon process, product complaints are handled effectively and proactively

Always follows customer service standards and policies. Customers provide positive feedback on customer service
- Maintains a standardized customer folder for all customers. Includes facts about the customer and the company's business with the customer. Updates folders on a monthly basis
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related field
- More than two years working experience with Sales field
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, and Power Point
- Excellent Self-motivated, interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to lead the implementation of innovation
- Ability to supervise and guide assigned staff to achieve task objectives, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments
- Ability to maintain performance expectations given limited resources
- Basic English Communication
- Myanmar is a must
