Warehouse Manager
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Manages the goods receiving, storage and dispatching operations cost efficiently, in line with Heineken standards and quality and SHE regulations, in order to meet the internal and external customers service requirements.
RESPONSIBILITY
Responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the Warehouse ensure operation is comply with the Logistics Rules, Standards and Procedures applicable. Manage the following activities:
• Inbound: unloading and sorting
• Storage for all the goods
• Line feeding and discharging
• Bill of loading
• Empties
• Order to cash process
• Outbound: picking and loading
Key Activities
Warehouse Planning and Execution
• Plan staffing and resources to the appropriate warehousing activities, monitor the execution and progress of the warehouse planning, including productivity, priority setting and daily adjustments/instructions to meet internal and external customer service requirements at minimum costs.
SHE Management and Sustainability
• Implement Heineken SHE standards, embed and apply in the warehousing operations, for both own and outsourced activities ensure activities are aligned with Heineken Sustainability agenda and targets, in terms of safety and carbon emissions.
• Monitor, control and report sustainability and SHE conditions and behaviour in the warehouse and take appropriate actions/measures to prevent and provide safe environment for both staff and visitors.
Inventory Management
• Ensures registration of stock movement performs regular inventory checks, monitors, controls and reports stock accuracy and stock losses to maintain accurate stock information.
Warehouse service provider management
• Provide input on the make-or-buy decision of warehouse services and support the selection, contracting, implementation and evaluation of Warehousing Service Providers, in line with Heineken standards and local regulations to the service agreement and the Heineken standards ensure the standards and the service agreement are followed by the Warehouse Service Providers at all time.
Management Information Reporting
• Provides clear and accurate information on inventory management, according to mandatory KPIs to support management and other stakeholders to make (timely) decisions and determine or adjust strategy.
Organization and People Management
• Organize and lead people management: including recruitment, performance management and people development, employee engagement according to the Heineken standards and procedures to be able utilize full potential of employees to engage and motivate employees.
REQUIREMENTS
- Any Degree holder - Preferably in Warehousing / Materials Management
- Minimum 5 year experience in related field; At Least 2-3 years of Proven work experience as a warehouse assistant manager or supervisor
- Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
- Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office, Power BI proficiency
- Ability to input, retrieve and analyse data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
