Npi Master Data Leader

Area of responsibility: This position plays a critical role in managing New Product Introduction projects for all Americas Export Markets.  The person on this role will be coordinating and liaising with CSO, Americas Export Commercial and Supply Chain Teams on a daily basis, in order to ensure that all projects follow approved process and design plan and meet implementation deadlines.  In addition, this position will play a key role on improving processes and controls for the Americas Export markets by being responsible for the master data of the OpCo.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead project governance for all Americas Export NPI and product change projects within the different involved commercial teams, supply chain teams and CSO team members
  • Ensure expected delivery of NPI or product change plans and follow-up on its stages and activity steps, leading the gate readiness activity to ensure delivery on time and in full of all Americas Export projects
  • Introduce alignment meetings between all key stakeholders to guarantee timely delivery of projects.  Ensure inputs are aligned for each stakeholder prior to meetings
  • Manage issues, risks and escalation associated with each NPI or product change project
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the NPI process and Project management applying TPM methodology.
  • Provide support for Americas Export ad-hoc projects and initiatives from value chain optimization, revenue management, SKU rationalization and new SKU/Brand introduction
  • Develop and prepare monthly / quarterly NPI tracker
  • Dotted line reporting to Finance Director Americas Export
  • Support Finance Director on ensuring high level controls over financials and product segmentation in SAP/CIL by leading a quarterly validation, running a review with finance management and providing relevant insights to the team
  • Manage and control existing master data for all Americas Export markets and Intercompany by ensuring correct pricing, price segmentation, transfer price, freight, Incoterm, brand, sub-brand and all other relevant product categorization in SAP/CIL.
  • Support in preparation of management presentations
  • Often validate and support maintenance of SKU master data


Background / Experiences:    

Education:                 Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Economics, Engineering or Finance/Accounting

Experience:              3-5 years minimum in Supply Chain related topics and Customer Service

Know-how:              Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, SAP.  CIL experience a plus.

Languages:              English.  Spanish is a plus.

Travel:                    Limited (5%)
