National Safety & Security Manager

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and oversee the national safety and security strategy, ensuring it aligns with organizational goals and protects people, assets, and information across the country.
  2. Create and enforce safety and security policies, ensuring full compliance with local, regional, and national regulations and standards.
  3. Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities, providing recommendations and actions to mitigate risks on a national scale.
  4. Lead and manage internal security teams and third-party contractors, ensuring a coordinated effort across all sites to maintain a secure environment.
  5. Advise senior leadership on safety, security, and health matters, providing strategic recommendations to drive improvements and mitigate potential risks.

 

Requirements:

  1. Must possess a valid and active Green Book 
  2. Minimum 5 years in a Leadership role Experience in advising and recomending strategy & guidelines on safety, security and or health matters to senior management
  3. Proven experience in advising senior management on safety, security, and health matters, providing recommendations for effective policies and strategies.
  4. At least 5 years managing safety programs including safety culture across multiple sites and with 3rd party partners/contractors
  5. Have experience with Food Safety and Manufacturing industry would be an added advantage
