Manager - Direct Material Procurement
Your role in HEINEKEN
As a Manager - Direct Materials Procurement, you will partner closely with Supply Chain. You are accountable for meeting order fulfilment of material requirements and providing alternative innovative solutions, which flows through the source to contract requisition cycle. This is done through proper planning, sourcing and developing suppliers, including soliciting for quotations, evaluating quotations and negotiating for the best terms and prices and selects the successful vendors for the delivery supply of all types of materials and services through our Global Tool.
You will also:
- Develop and implement a purchasing action plan for local category with the aim of realizing a sustainable competitive advantage
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure contract compliance is guaranteed and operational issue are solved.
- Proactively approach, convince and advise both internal stakeholders and suppliers, using own knowledge of the products and/or services
- Manage governance and control programs to ensure business continuity, protect company assets, and comply with corporate and regulatory policies
- Continuously improve the Procurement process by interfacing between supplier and stakeholder
Key Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Procurement or Supply Chain Management related field
- Knowledge of Procurement practices, indirect purchases, demand markets, negotiation concepts.
- Minimum 5-7 years in FMCG industry with working experience in procurement or supply chain management, at least 3 years managerial experience in Procurement
- Nice to have: SAP system (MM) module
