Mechatronics Technician
Responsibilities:
- Safe execution of all unplanned maintenance work focusing on efficient breakdown resolution.
- Perform inspection, lubrication, schedule works, trouble-shooting and carry out repairs & maintenance to improve line performance, machine reliability & reduce unplanned breakdown
- Supports CILT execution.
- Conducts Tagging if required or appropriate.
- Spots and rectifies performance issues of equipment during walk around.
- Hands over equipment after repairs to operator; places tag for follow up work order.
- Executes Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
- Executes repairs not able to be done by operators; informs duty engineer if > 15 minute stop.
- Applies structured fault finding procedures; collect spare parts, or organizes for his team to apply structured fault finding, including training/mentoring.
- Participates in RCFA (5 why) or organized for his/her team to participate, including training/mentoring.
- Performs or executes 5S in engineering workshop.
- Uses 'dead time' as instruction time (own skills or operators).
- Registers Break down work orders in CMMS and create BDA sheet. Defines follow-up work (after solve).
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years working experience in manufacturing sector
- Capable of perform mechanical repair, schedule and overhaul jobs are necessary. Also, able to lead improvement team
- Mastered required LOTO skills and activities
- Excellent trouble-shooting skills
- Very good technical mechanical knowledge
- Basic Electrical Engineering know-how
- Experienced in TPM and ability to execute AM activities and to train operators in AM
- Ability to actively support and participate in BDA
