Channel Marketing Manager - Off Trade

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fully responsible for the design, analysis and identifying of the annual/long term Off Trade channel strategy for Modern Off-Trade and Traditional Off-Trade and the subsequent execution of these plans which meets brand (s), volume and profit objectives
  • Ownership and continuous refinement of channel segmentation and prioritisation leveraging on customer and shopper insights, select key shopper drivers across sub-channels in the off-trade channel (define Picture of Success), and produce an action plan to realize the Picture of Success.
  • Lead in initiating ad-hoc opportunities and plan activities in potential channels and accounts (as and when required by the business) to further optimize performance in the Off Trade channel.
  • Ensuring all actionable strategies and initiatives are executed through the most effective and efficient utilization of budgets and resources in order to achieve company’s commercial objectives
  • Work closely with brand marketing, sales teams and other cross functional departments in driving consumer and customer plans through the Off-trade channel
  • People management (coach, guide and develop)- managing a team of 2 managers.

 

Key Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, in Business, Economics, Marketing or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years working experience in FMCG industry (Trade Marketing experience is mandatory, frontline Sales experience is a bonus), with at least 2 years of people management (direct or indirect)
