Brewing Technician 2

Responsibilities:

  • Works in line with the defined and implemented safety and food safety standards. Following the 5S, Housekeeping and HACCP related to the work place.
  • Makes all the quality checks in line with the quality specifications and to ensure accurate quality data are reported timely.
  • Executes the tagging process, CILT and applies problem solving tools.
  • Participates and starts leading the improvement teams.
  • Perform the brewing technician’s job as and when required, including start-up, shut-down, changeover and cleaning.
  • Executes all the brewing operations in line with the valid standards. Manage documentation and reporting for the working area.
  • To safely operate and control the brewing process and equipment to the desired level of performance.
  • Executes basic preventive maintenance tasks according to standards and is actively involved in improvement activities. Captures and interprets performance data and executes corrective actions.
  • Participate in immediate breakdown repair or to assist in major breakdown repair.
  • Perform down time analysis and trouble-shooting as well as recommend innovative solutions and to implement through.

Requirements:

  • Certificate or diploma holder in related technical field, preferably in Engineering/ Mechatronics.
  • 1-3 years experience in production/brewing/maintenance in manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred experience in TPM/LEAN/ 6 SIGMA, etc.
  • Preferably in beverage/maintenance operation shopfloor experience.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • IT literate and proficient in using computers, iPad, systems, etc.
  • Must be able to work in changing shift patterns according to demand.
