Reporting & Accounting Manager

Role Overview

 

As part of the Finance Leadership Team the Head of Finance is responsible for leading Heineken’s budgeting and forecasting process, preparation and distribution of various internal financial statements to management whilst ensuring all transactions and documentation complies with LAS, IAS and Heineken group standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Oversee and manage the continued development of budgeting and forecasting, monitor performance indicators,  highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected variance
• Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
• Manage daily activities for Accounting, Accounts Payable, Cost Accounting and Treasury
• Manage the preparation and distribution of internal financial statements and reports, maintaining the highest quality, reliability and accuracy
• Manage monthly closing process, including reconciliations and analysis of related accounts
• Coordinate the annual audit with the independent auditors
• Develop and maintain the integrity of the financial reporting process and financial controls
• Coordinate, develop and update written policies and procedures over the financial reporting process
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting

 

 

Specific Requirements

 

• Professionally Qualified Accountant Graduate University/MBA
• At least 5 years supervisory experience in a similar job scope in FMCG or manufacturing company
• People development

• Influencing skills
• High level of analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communicator at all levels.
• Strong leadership qualities
• Proficient in ERP with excellent Microsoft skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
