The Gist
Are you an energized finance professional who is excited to drive improvements in a challenging environment? Join the Lagunitas Finance team! You will navigate in a fun and challenging environment (start-up mindset with Heineken) where you will be:
- Focusing on the financial part of our Supply Chain: our brewery in Petaluma and our logistics
- Using your strong analytical skills to generate actionable insights
- Supporting to drive the EverGreen (cost savings & efficiency) agenda with the organization
- Helping to steer the business into the right direction to improve financial results
What You’ll Do
- Lead (together with the FP&A Director the Supply Chain) financial governance/planning cycle (Rolling Forecasts, Annual Plans & Strategic Plans) by focusing on both the variable expenses & fixed expenses
- Drive the financial cycle/ reporting drumbeat across the senior managers across the organization to influence them to make the right business decisions
- Responsible for accurate, complete and timely reporting together with the other business control team members
- Drive the creation and standardization of financial reporting (mainly in PowerBI)
- Generate models of the Supply Chain financials that enable our stakeholders and the Leadership Team (LT) to make important business decisions
- Lead and support various finance and business projects, in addition to the month-end closing
- Support the EverGreen agenda by working closely with Procurement & Supply Chain to identify any opportunities, also creating/validating business cases
- Drive the profitability strategies and expectations within Lagunitas
- Proactively analyze, advise, prioritize and give relevant guidelines to your different stakeholders in Supply Chain
What We’re Lookin’ For
- 3 or more years of relevant and practical experience
- Proactive self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and a team player
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking and organization skills
- Familiar with financial reporting and working with deadlines
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
Key relationships
- Reports to the FP&A Director – Strategy & Supply Chain
- Part of a small Finance team that currently consists of 10 financials
- Various stakeholders: managers of the Petaluma plant, logistics mangers, procurement & other finance team members
Physical Requirements
We expect you to be working at the Petaluma office at least three days per week (company policy)
