The Gist

The Sales Execution and Capability Director has a great opportunity to make a real impact.  They will develop the strategy, ensuring execution of a winning commercial plan at Lagunitas.

The Sales Execution and Capability Director will combine their passion for sales, skills of analysis, planning and strong communication to work across functions - bringing people together while consistently bringing a ‘customer back’ approach.

 

What You’ll Do

You will be responsible for 1. Developing our Route to Consumer .2 Developing and Executing a plan to develop our Sales Capabilities 3. Leading the Commercial Planning process on behalf of Sales.

  1. Route to Consumer
    • Ensure we are impacting our retailers and distributors in the most effective way.
    • Includes: building all elements of the customer contact strategy, utilizing digital tools when appropriate, ensuring sales coverage is optimized behind our commercial priorities along with effective measurement and review.
    • In conjunction with Trade Market and Category Management: design, plan & execute the sales execution strategy for Lagunitas, including Picture of Success implementation through our Field Sales Managers.
  2. Sales Capability
    • Working with the people team - responsible for the design and implementation of a plan that will accelerate our commercial capabilities, investing in our people to ensure future success.
  3. Commercial Planning
    • Lead the Business Planning process on behalf of sales.
      • Responsibilities will include the external, ‘Annual Business Planning’ process with distributors connecting the ‘Joint Business Planning’ Process with Retailers along with the development of the internal plan.
    • Responsible for the coordinating all elements of commercial measurement and review.

 

What We’re Lookin’ For

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university desired.
  • 5+ years sales experience managing distributors and/or National Accounts.
  • Excellent commercial planning and project management skills
  • Highly analytical Knowledge and use of IRI/Nielsen syndicated data and VIP sales reporting systems.
