About the Role 

This passionate HR Center of Expertise owner drives the key Lagunitas value of investing in our people by creating and leading the vision, strategy and execution of our People and Organizational Development strategy, policies and programs. Responsible for ensuring that the company has a committed, ‘fit for the future’ high-performing organization needed to deliver our strategic goals. Focuses on the organization culture, values and engagement that are needed to support and enhance organization performance and agility. Assures that the processes, systems, structures and people are aligned with the mission and goals. Provides insight, counsel and leadership on development and execution of capability, cultural and change activities. This includes taking the lead on developing the change capabilities of the organization and preparing leaders as sponsors and agents of change. Designs, implements and manages key Policies and Programs such as Strategic Workforce Planning, Employer Brand Value, Recruitment Standards, Onboarding, Performance Management framework, Succession Planning,

People Review Cycle, Learning and Development, Leadership Development and Career management. 

 

What You'll Do

  • Designs and implements the Company talent and workforce management strategy.
  • Implements concept, framework and tools using High Performing Organizations methodology to support the development of high performing teams.
  • Supports the design / review of the organizational structure design of the Company, ensuring its alignment with the business needs and strategy with VP of HR and HRBPs.
  • Leads the mapping designs and improves the employee experience for all employee touch points, connecting with HRBPs and COE.
  • Manages Strategic Workforce Planning through rigorous governance, planning, organization and controls together with HRBPs.
  • Designs medium to long-term solutions for workforce challenges on critical roles and organization capabilities.
  • Implements change management methodology across the company supporting COE, HRBPs and leaders of teams.
  • Designs, implements and monitors Recruitment standards with service levels and stakeholder management, supporting HRBPs in executing workforce planning and staffing needs.
  • Leads Onboarding design, planning, organization and assurance of a positive, inspiring employee experience.
  • Leads definition and design of career mapping and development policies and practices, closely aligned with HRBPs inputs.
  • Leads the Performance Management cycle, ensuring its articulation with business objectives, professional and personal development and respective feedback, reward, talent identification and recognition mechanisms.
  • Responsible for the definition and implementation of Behavioral and Leadership / Competency model.
  • Coordinates the Leadership Development framework through the implementation and management of Leadership Academy.
  • Assures the People Review status on a yearly basis together with VP of HR and updates on talent management strategy, including talent acquisition and development programs.
  • Leads the Succession Planning governance with the definition and implementation of the Succession Plan process and identification and development of talents with inputs from Management team and HRBPs.
  • Implements development philosophy of 70-20-10.
  • Implements concept of learning hub and functional academies together with HRBPs.
  • Supports compliance programs through training certifications management.
  • Plans, coordinates, implements and monitors the effectiveness of regionally aligned and Global HR leadership development programs.
  • Builds and monitors own budget, specifically for Recruitment and Training.
  • Plans, coordinates and controls the implementation of Learning and Development policy within the approved budget.
  • Plans, coordinates and monitors the management of the Functional Academies, developing learning solutions, ensuring their alignment with the strategy, seizing synergies opportunities with Heineken.
  • Responsible for the POD Dashboard including recruitment, performance management, turnover, mobility, talent, Learning & Development, etc.
  • Ensures compliance with legal requirements and internal policies and procedures with regard to POD processes, namely training management.
  • Proposes and implements projects that ensure the development of new models, namely in terms of new forms of work and optimization of processes.
  • Managing Human Resources affected in your area; other duties and projects as directed.

 

What We're Lookin' For

  • A Master’s degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Human Resources, Organizational Development or equivalent preferred; Bachelor’s degree required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience within the Human Resources field.
  • PHR, SPHR or other creditable HR certificates is preferred.
  • Experience designing and implementing instructional design and learning solutions; thorough knowledge of Human Resources and learning theories, practices and strategy.
  • Experience managing a high-volume of requisitions and leading a team of recruiters to execute with high regard for time to fill, candidate and manager experience, and business strategy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet strict deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Passion for Lagunitas and the craft beer business.

 

Key Relationships

  • Reports directly to the VP of HR.
  • Works closely with HRBPs to assure development of options for functional needs and assuring. 

 

Physical Requirements

  • Occasional travel required.
  • Ability to use a computer keyboard and calculator.
  • Work is typical office environment (by Lagunitas standards).
