The Gist

The On-Site Experience Ambassador provides a fun, educational, and memorable experience to visitors and event groups, through memorable events, tastings, storytelling, BVR’s, Dips and informative tours of the facility. They are a liaison between Lagunitas and our community, promoting the retail business through networking and outreach.

Along with support for our Taproom and On-site team as needed.

What You’ll Do

·       Be the face of our brand to external clients interested in our tours

·       Greet and managing aspects of on-site brewery tours which include bus groups, private, BVR (Brewery Visit Request) distributor, daily tours to ensure portrayal of the Lagunitas brand

·       Manage our booking platform for tours and BVR (Brewery Visit Request)

·       Respond to client's request in a timely manner

·       Lead walking tour groups through designated tour areas, relaying historical, educational, and interesting brewery and beer industry facts

·       Describe tour groups’ points of interest to group members and respond to questions from group

·       Ensure we are abiding by all Safety measures put in place by Facilities/Operations/Safety

·       Greet, and socialize with patrons when not conducting tours

·       Work Amphitheater shows and Taproom events (signage display, set up, take down, ticket booth, security, crowd control) to facilitate a successful event

·       Support Guest Experience Manager in executing special events to drive traffic to the taproom

·       Ensure clear communication of all safety rules and regulations to any tour attendees

·       Clean up and set up tour locations including stocking and restocking

·       Leads and executes community networking and outreach promotion for tours and retail

·       Supports On-Site Experience Specialist with private event, booking and day-of execution

What We’re Lookin’ For

·       · Prior experience as a Tour Guide is desired

·       · Passion for Lagunitas and the beer business

·       · General knowledge of craft beer is desired

·       · Outgoing/High energy, enjoys high level of public interaction

·       · Outgoing personality, positive attitude and strong verbal communication skills

·       · Able to demonstrate integrity, mature judgment in handling all matters

·       · Ability to solve problems and work independently in a changing and multi-tasking environment with numerous deadlines

·       · Enjoy working in a team and collaborative environment

·       · Amenable to work flexible schedules, including weekends, off hours, holidays and overtime

·       · Ability to understand and work well with on-site event producers

·       · Experience and proficiency in public speaking

·       · Responsible Beverage Server and Certified Food Server Certifications required

Key Relationships

·       · Reports directly to Senior Guest Experience Manager

·       · Works with On-Site Experience Specialist and Taproom staff to coordinate overlap with on-site retail events.

Physical Stuff

·       Requires moderate physical efforts: carrying, bending, stretching, stooping, pulling and pushing

·       Able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and maneuver up to 165 lbs.

·       Able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

·       Ability to use a computer keyboard and calculator.

·       Work environment is primarily indoors within a restaurant and production environment may involve noise and temperature changes
