About the Role

You will act as the financial business partner for Commerce function. You will be responsible to develop volumes/Revenue analysis, to control commercial spend efficiency and to translate financial figures in relevant insight for (commercial) business decision. You like to challenge status quo? You like to influence the business decisions in a complex (“Start up” mindset in a framework) and changing environment? You are ready to join the Lagunitas business controlling team! You will report to the Head of Business Control.


What You’ll Do

  • Business partner on a day-to-day basis for Sales and Marketing
  • Manage the entire financial cycle for commerce (e.g. AP, SP, Rofo …)
  • Monitor actual costs development vs forecast and provide early warnings on deviations and present results to the relevant stakeholders
  • Maximize the business performance by:
    • Developing strong analysis on revenue drivers (e.g. mix, prices, depletion allowances) and sales spend efficiency on the US market / indirect market through distributors network
    • Supporting the development of RMG capabilities within the organization in collaboration with the business controller supply chain and the Sales Business development team
  • Ultimately, creating relevant insights to support decision making by developing business cases, benchmarking, providing scenarios modelling and ad’hoc analysis


What We’re Lookin’ For

  • Education & Work experience: Bachelor level / University level, ~6 yeas experience on business controlling, preferably in commercial Finance, Revenue management
  • Functional skills: Strong knowledge of financial concepts, accounting, systems and business processes, Analytical skills, Ability to connect with diverse stakeholders, Experience with SAP/CIL/Power BI, Microsoft Office
  • Curious and inquisitive mindset with the ability to work independently and to proactively break silos within the organization
  • Ability to perform complex analysis while being as simple as possible with your stakeholders
