Demand Planner


  • Ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of the S&OP process.
  • Ensure communication and clarification of the responsibilities of relevant stakeholders in the S&OP process, ensuring the necessary support.
  • Acts as ambassador for the organization's S&OP process, creating awareness and adherence to it.
  • Ensure that the balance between demand and supply is taken into account in the decision-making process
  • Ensure the management of planning processes
  • Ensure the implementation of the “Consensus Demand Plan” process (consensus on demand)
  • Analyze, consolidate and communicate the relevant information regarding KPI’s of forecast accuracy, S&OP effectiveness, and give a platform for Supply Chain metrics and performance to be reviewed
  • Detail the impacts of the various sales and promotional actions proposed, analyzing the different scenarios
  • Coordinate the fulfillment of quality and punctuality requirements in making detailed information available to the Production, Sales and Customer Service areas
  • Creates statistical forecast including differentiations, causal relationships, baseline/uplift, main drivers and demand patterns, seasonality and trend changes
  • Generates and discusses alternative scenarios on the demand plan for the S&OP process, with clearly listed assumptions and risk assessment on volume and costs
  • Initiates, implements and embeds improvements to demand planning processes and procedures and supports TPM initiatives
  • Monitors and analyses the demand planning KPI’s like forecast accuracy and bias. Discusses and supports improvement opportunities with the commercial department
  • Coordinates and monitors the demand planning processes, taking into account the interdependencies with supply planning and commercial activities
  • Provides clear and accurate information on demand planning performance.



  • 2 - 3 years of relevant experience (Demand Planning, Supply Planning or Production Planning preferred) 
  • Experience in sales analysis and consumer market planning
  • Knowledge of planning tools and information systems (pref. SAP and SAP-APO)
  • Knowledge of TPM or other continuous improvement tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable field preferred or experience equivalent
  • Knowledge of the System procedures most relevant to your team's activity (Environment and Safety)
  • Knowledge of the main risks of your activity and your team
  • Knowledge of the main significant environmental aspects associated with the area / activity
  • Knowledge of the forms of communication of occurrences provided for in the Safety and Environment system, namely the ARISO within its responsibility
  • Knowledge of the basic principles of the BBS system and the performance of preventive observations
  • Reports to Director of Logistics, works closely with Sales Support Manager, VP of Sales, VP of Operations, Materials Purchasing, Supply Planning Manager, Production Schedulers, and VP of Finance
  • Contribute to the elimination or minimization of the risks present in its functional area and activities
  • Contribute to the minimization of significant environmental aspects and impacts associated with the area / activity
  • Communicate / guarantee and promote communication and take responsibility for monitoring the occurrences of environmental safety in its functional area in accordance with the expected communication flow
  • Know and know how to interpret reports from the safety and environment management system applicable to your functional area, as well as transmit them to your team and take actions that promote continuous improvement
  • Assume and promote safe behaviors in your area in order to achieve an interdependent safety culture
