Senior Buyer/ Contract Manager

  • Deliver competitive advantage from group deals and local deals to the OpCo and manage the OpCo Purchasing team. Ensure compliance of the standard processes, governance and internal controls.
  • Effectively managing the Procurement Department in such a way that assurance of supply is guaranteed at minimal cost, in a timely and efficient way to the organization as a whole and to the satisfaction of the internal customers.



  • Identify potential suppliers for brand / marketing/trade categories including creative agencies, research services, digital services including social media, activation/execution agencies, trade support & visibility (POS) services.
  • Strategically source suppliers for the development and inclusion in the Request for Proposal (RFP) or Competitive Pitch process.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to drive value for marketing categories based on business needs, market intelligence, spend baselines and industry benchmarking. Support annual planning activities for Marketing Services.
  • Work independently to negotiate commercial terms for Master Service Agreements with suppliers, manage agreement renewals and amendments, and work with Legal for reviews.
  • Work with internal business partners and suppliers to create Statements of Work (SOW) and Agency brief documents (for new and existing suppliers).
  • Takes care of personnel management, working conditions and safety within the department in conformity with the legal regulations of the company
  • Training, development and coaching of employees
  • Manage overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of procurement for the facility.
  • Implement procurement strategies to maintain security of supply and optimum value for money.
  • Manage all procurement and contracting activities including pre-qualification, tender management, negotiation and preparation of contracts.
  • Set policy and guidelines for delivering commercial and cost effective procuring process for the business.
  • Develop key relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners to improve business.
  • Implement change and develop new processes to better procure goods and services.
  • Conduct business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess risk, review future strategies, and identify potential cost down and improvement opportunities.



  • Approximately 3-5 years of experience in Purchasing / Procurement, preferably within a beverages FMCG company
  • Direct experience in procurement with marketing or creative industry is highly desired.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working in Purchasing, Procurement and/or Supply Chain Management/ Marketing for a variety of indirect categories.
  • Minimum 3 years contracting experience (drafting original MSAs / SOWs, redlining, negotiating).
  • Minimum 3 years working directly with legal.
  • Minimum 3 years of managing suppliers, contract negotiations and project management for a variety of marketing categories (Media buying, brand promotions/executions, trade marketing, sponsorships, creative & digital agencies, print/POS, consumer insights/research services, etc.).



  • University degree in commercial, business, finance, economic or technical discipline
