JOB PURPOSE:
Deliver competitive advantage from group deals and local deals to the organisation, manage and develop the Procurement team, and act as the key local procurement business partner. Ensure compliance of the source to pay processes, governance and internal controls in line with global and local guidelines and policies. Effectively manage the Procurement Department in such a way that assurance of supply is guaranteed at minimal cost, in a timely and efficient way to the organization as a whole and to the satisfaction of the internal customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead all Business Partnering activities across all functional stakeholders
Ensure proper execution of centrally negotiated contracts
Develop sourcing strategies for local spend
Support strategy development for specific categories upon request of the buyer
Perform internal and external analysis, generate opportunity proposals and provide input into global and regional opportunity assessment for cost saving projects (value engineering, lower transaction costs, sku rationalisation, cash improvement)
Evaluate feasibility (ROI) and define business case
Define high level implementation plan and share with stakeholders
Provide input cost estimation according to budget planning process
Ensure availability of Requirements and Conditions prior to tendering
Contribute to selected negotiations and supplier selections upon request of the category buyer
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor degree in business, finance, commercial, economics or technical discipline
Professional qualifications: CPSM/CPM would be an asset
Minimum 5 years of experience in Purchasing / Procurement
Minimum 3 years people management experience
Business Process Knowledge
Robust Knowledge of the Source to Pay Process
Strong understanding of Supply Chain and Commercial/Business Services
Project Management experience
Proactive in identifying and solving problems/issues
A drive for continuous professional development in self and others
Excellent language skills in English
Application knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint
Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship building capabilities. Have the ability to quickly form working relationships, gain credibility and influence solutions at a senior level
