Job Purpose

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Technician to join our Maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of production equipment through effective maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on production equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical faults to minimize downtime
• Support line efficiency by ensuring equipment operates at optimal performance
• Participate in TPM activities, including autonomous and planned maintenance
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping (5S)
• Collaborate with operations and other maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an asset
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment maintenance, and repair techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work shifts and respond to operational needs

Knowledge & Experience:

• One (1) - three (3) years maintenance experience

• Experience in TPM (Total Productivity Management) to execute AM (Autonomous Maintenance) activities and to train operators in AM.

• Good troubleshooting skills.

• Previous experience in manufacturing, or a similar production environment is a strong advantage.
