Tax Specialist

Within the Finance department, you will hold the position of Tax Specialist. Your mission will be to ensure strict compliance with local and international tax regulations, guarantee the accuracy of tax returns and optimise the company's tax burden. You will play a key role in relations with tax authorities, dispute management, internal consulting and the application of HEINEKEN Group policies.

 

 

What do We Expect from You ?

 

 1. Tax returns & Auditing

  • Prepare and submit monthly and annual tax returns within the legal deadlines (VAT, TSE, third-party VAT, excise duties, BNC, Statement 302, Statement 7.5%, etc.).
  • Carry out quarterly tax and social security reviews.
  • Manage tax, social security and customs disputes.
  • Periodically review the tax analysis of tax accounts.
  • Participate in tax optimisation.
  • Perform tax analysis of contracts.
  • Supervise the accuracy of tax figures in internal and external reports.
  • Participate in the management of tax audits.

 

2. Monitoring & Organisation

  • Monitor CEPICI files.
  • Contribute to the organisation of the department and report on activities in line with defined objectives.
  • Propose continuous improvement actions to enhance the department's performance.

 

3. Advice & Negotiation

  • Advise internal teams (Management, Group Taxation) on the tax implications of decisions.
  • Lead or support negotiations with tax authorities and prepare draft agreements.
  • Assess legal positions and co-manage disputes with the legal department.

 

4. Policy & Process Management

  • Develop, implement and maintain tax policies in line with the overall tax strategy and HEINEKEN's Tax Control Framework.
  • Monitor legislative developments and integrate them into internal processes.
  • Ensure operational excellence in tax compliance.

 

Who are We Looking For?

 

Qualifications:

  • •    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Taxation, Accounting, Finance or equivalent

 

Experience 

  • Minimum 5 to 6 years' experience in taxation
  • Proficiency in SAP (FI, MM, AM modules)
  • Fluency in French and English (spoken and written)

 

Key skills:

  • Rigour, analytical skills, integrity and ability to negotiate
  • Good writing and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent knowledge of local tax obligations
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and digital tax interfaces
