About the Job 

Multi Bintang Indonesia is hiring a Packaging Team Leader based in Tangerang. You’ll be responsible for leading and coordinating the packaging line operations to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and team performance. This role reports to the Packaging Manager and is ideal for someone who is hands-on, people-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic FMCG manufacturing environment.

Job Purpose

As a Packaging Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the packaging line, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. You’ll lead a team of operators, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with company standards, TPM routines and procedures. #DoSomethingThatMatters

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise packaging line operations to meet production targets.

• Identify potential Kaizen initiatives to improve line efficiency, reduce material losses, and energy saving.
• Ensure compliance with autonomous maintenance routines and schedules.
• Lead and enforce the execution and sustainability of TPM activities on the packaging line.

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and hygiene standards.
• Monitor and report line performance, downtime, and efficiency metrics.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve issues.
• Conduct shift handovers and ensure accurate documentation.
• Support training and development of packaging team members.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives / Kaizens on the shop floor.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and company policies.

Candidate Criteria  

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field
• Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing or packaging operations

Experience in leading teams and managing shift operations

• Skills & Competencies:

Strong leadership and communication skills

Knowledge of packaging machinery and production processes

Able to work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Grafana, Power BI, SAP and basic reporting tools

Problem-solving mindset and continuous improvement orientation

Tools Provided: Laptop  

Contract: Full-time
