ABOUT THE JOB

Multi Bintang Indonesia is looking for a strategic, structured, and business-driven Category Manager Commerce & Business Services to lead procurement strategy and execution across key categories such as Marketing (ATL/BTL), Sales, HR, Facilities, ICT, and Commercial Logistics.

JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT

As the Category Manager for Commerce & Business Services, you will lead the strategy and execution of procurement across Marketing, Sales, HR, Facilities, ICT, and other business service categories, ensuring every supplier decision drives tangible value, cost efficiency, and service quality that supports business growth. This role is highly impactful as you act as a strategic partner to all functions within MBI, strengthen end‑to‑end procurement excellence, uphold global compliance standards, and elevate team capability, transforming procurement from an operational function into a true strategic enabler for the company.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute Commerce & Business Services category strategies in alignment with OpCo & HGP direction.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing, tendering, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract management.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, HR, ICT, CS&L, Finance, Legal, and HGP.
• Explore market opportunities, analyze trends, and provide insights to maximize value creation.
• Ensure procurement compliance, P2P excellence, and fully updated contract repository.
• Deliver global-standard management reporting and savings tracking.
• Manage, coach, and grow a team of Buyers while delegating smaller projects and leading major initiatives directly.

CANDIDATE CRITERIA

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Procurement, Economics, or related field.
• 3–5 years’ managerial experience in Procurement; FMCG experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Structured, analytical, and solution-driven mindset; able to manage high information volume.
• Preferably experienced in Commerce Procurement; fast learners with strong ethics welcome.
• Fluent in English (written & spoken).
• Procurement certification (CIPS, CIPP, CIPM) is a strong plus.
