ABOUT THE JOB

We are hiring an Engineering Technician to support our brewery operations by ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of production and utility equipment.
In this role, you will maintain and troubleshoot brewery machinery, instrumentation, and utilities across production areas. You will work closely with autonomous teams to support operational continuity, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure that all activities comply with HEINEKEN, statutory, and local standards.
This role suits individuals with strong technical capability, high agility, and a passion for operational excellence in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

As an Engineering Technician, you play a critical role in safeguarding the heartbeat of our brewery operations. Your work ensures uninterrupted utility supply, reliable equipment performance, and safe operating conditions; directly supporting consistent, high‑quality production.

From executing planned maintenance to troubleshooting complex technical issues, your expertise helps minimize downtime, improve asset reliability, and strengthen operational discipline. By supporting autonomous maintenance teams and translating technical insights into actionable improvements, you contribute to long‑term performance, safety culture, and efficiency.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute to maintaining a safe working environment in compliance with statutory, HEINEKEN, and local regulations

• Train and support Autonomous Maintenance teams to sustain and improve basic equipment conditions
• Prepare, execute, record, evaluate, and optimize planned maintenance activities
• Ensure consistent and high‑quality utility supply throughout the production process in line with HEINEKEN and local quality standards
• Troubleshoot and maintain brewery equipment and instrumentation across production areas
• Produce and report accurate, timely operational data to support effective decision‑making and continuous improvement

   

   

CANDIDATE CRITERIA

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics)

• Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance activities

• Familiar with Siemens Step 7, TIA Portal, RS Logix is a must

• Experience with liquid processing equipment, Krones machines, or TPM is an advantage

• Mechanical maintenance experience is a plus

• Strong understanding of maintenance and reliability principles

• Excellent analytical skills with a systematic and structured problem‑solving approach

• Able to work both independently and collaboratively in team environments

• Improvement‑oriented mindset with strong agility

• Proficient communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English

• Willingness to work in shifts
