About the Job 

As Public & Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will play a central role in strengthening the company’s reputation, safeguarding our license to operate, and representing the beer industry in Indonesia through proactive engagement with key stakeholders and policy makers. In this role, you will also provide strategic direction and functional leadership to public affairs representatives based at our breweries in Tangerang and Mojokerto. Together, you will ensure consistent advocacy and stakeholder engagement across all operational sites.

Job Purpose

This role is dedicated to ensuring an optimal business climate for Multi Bintang Indonesia. You will lead the company’s public affairs and advocacy strategy, anticipate and influence regulatory developments, and build trusted relationships with government, trade associations, NGOs, and opinion leaders to positively shape policies and public perception. #DoSomethingThatMatters

Main Responsibilities

• Lead Multi Bintang’s public affairs and advocacy agenda, ensuring alignment with business priorities
• Monitor, analyze, and influence regulations and policies impacting the alcohol and beer industry
• Build and maintain strong networks with government stakeholders, NGOs, industry associations, and media
• Represent Multi Bintang at high-level forums, driving our position within trade associations and government dialogues
• Develop advocacy campaigns and issue management strategies to safeguard our commercial freedom and reputation
• Provide functional leadership and guidance to brewery-based public affairs representatives in Tangerang and Mojokerto, ensuring alignment and consistency in local stakeholder engagement

Candidate Criteria  

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, International Relations, Political Science, Policy Studies, or related fields

• 8+ years of experience in Public or Regulatory Affairs, Corporate Affairs, or related fields (FMCG experience is a plus)

• Strong track record in advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and public affairs campaign management

• Excellent networking, influencing, and negotiation skills

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
