AP Accountant - Local PO

Multi Bintang Indonesia is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Account Payable Accountant to the accurate updating and auditing of vendor invoices in our system, in accordance with company policies. This role will involve performing the complete accounts payable function and ensuring all invoices are posted accurately to provide precise management reports.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify invoices received from vendors.
• Communicate promptly with vendors or other stakeholders regarding any unclear invoices and ensure all necessary supporting documents are provided.
• Verify and calculate taxes on invoices (WHT/VAT).
• Post invoices into the SAP system accurately and on time.
• Perform Retrospective GR (Goods Receipt) control.
• Ensure open item accounts payable are ready to be paid (not blocked).
• Conduct GR assessments for long outstanding balances.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Economics.
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or accounts payable.
• Familiarity with SAP or a similar ERP system, along with strong Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with good communication skills and openness to diverse cultures.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to be based in the Tangerang office.
