  • Lead team in conducting numeric distribution by understanding distribution numbers provided by the master distributor
  • Coordinate with master distributor talent to train them on identifying right outlets, pitching for product etc. for the products
  • Lead team in crafting incentive plans and schemes to motivate distributor sales talent
  • Guide team to develop secondary schemes for retailers to enable upselling and new placements
  • Identify distribution gaps within territories and determine way forward to resolve the gaps ensuring availability at outlets
  • Devise quantity purchase schemes and lead team in implementing the schemes across the assigned geographies
  • Understand closing stock at distributor level and compare to predicted sales for the time period; Determine additional requirements and coordinate with the Supply Chain team to plan for vehicles needed and other dispatch formalities
  • Lead team in mapping existing channel spread for assigned geographies
  • Identify and develop new distributors and retailers in assigned geographies for general trade
  • Understand existing on-premise channel (e.g. hotel, restaurants, cafes) ecosystem and identify more players/institutions within this channel to increase distribution footprint
  • Identify untapped channels like govt café, railway/transport etc. and develop plans to leverage these channels
  • Keep track of emerging channels e.g. non-alcoholic beer retail in different states and determine way forward
  • Interact with stakeholders in the beverage category at Cash and Carry chains to discuss stocking, discuss feedback and devise overall plans, as required
  • Devise engagement activities like consumer promos, combos, visual merchandizing to increase sales at the cash and carry outlets
  • Lead trainings with Cash and Carry outbound sales team on the product features, merchandizing initiatives and inventive plans
  • Interact with Cash and Carry supply chain team to ensure stock availability, book store appointments, and resolve operational issues in availability
  • Coordinate with the Cash and Carry store teams to discuss region-specific initiatives
  • Coordinate with CFA to ensure delivery of stock in line with appointment dates for the various Cash and Carry outlet
  • Coordinate with relevant internal teams and stakeholders, like marketing for banners, posters, danglers and Finance for o/s amount and overdues for distributor payments
  • Build and leverage relationships with key external stakeholders at distributor organizations, on-premise institutions etc. to promote and protect UBL interests
