A hands-on, experienced Learning & Development professional with a proven track record creating, planning and implementing cross national onboarding and learning programs. Great interpersonal skills, working with different stakeholders across functions and countries. Energised by creative thinking, but also by focussing on perfect execution, measuring success not only on ONIF delivery, but also on the actual impact and business results.

Role Scope

The objective of this position is to shape, build, maintain and improve onboarding and training content for the DBB teams and transitioning OpCo’s for one region.  You are an experienced professional with day-to-day responsibility for all aspects of our learning agenda, working together with counterparts for each region, reporting to the DBB L&D manager. The role will have a global focus (SPOC development workstream content), with a regional executional scope. This role is critical in ensuring that deployment and OpCo teams are equipped with the knowledge, tools and behaviors to drive the successful execution of the program.

Line Management Activities

 

Reports to the DBB L&D Manager

No direct reports

Key stakeholder coordination of a wider OpCo Key User group (in close collaboration with local People functions), SPOC workstreams, People business partnering (local OpCo & DBB team)

Key roles & Responsibilities

Onboarding material development: Develop a comprehensive onboarding flow for deployment teams across one region, aligning it with the objectives and goals of the central team. This both from a functional perspective as behavior/leadership point of view.

Training Program Development: Create and implement a training program that covers the necessary skills, knowledge, tools and behaviors required for effective transformation

Content Development: Ensure enhancement of training materials, resources, and documentation to support the training program, ensuring they are relevant, up-to-date, and easily accessible. (SPOC one workstream)

Training Delivery: Oversee the delivery of training sessions, which may include in-person, virtual, or self-paced training, and ensure consistency in content and approach. Both for DBB staff as for deployment of DBB transition in OpCo (3 OpCo per year in one region)

Performance Assessment: Develop and implement methods to assess the effectiveness of training programs and the performance of deployment teams.

Feedback and Improvement: Gather feedback from deployment teams and OpCo stakeholders to continuously improve training content and delivery methods.

Skills & Experience

 

  • Work experience of 5 to 8 years.
  • Experienced L&D professional with proven track record on multi-country implementations
  • Strong project management skills, with a focus on planning, execution and evaluation of training programs.
  • Presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Familiarity with Change Management principles and practices.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross- functional and cross – cultural teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management with cultural awareness and versatility in styles.
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Able to work in ambiguous situations, dealing with complexity and time pressure.
  • A strong communicator with excellent active listening skills.
