This is a fix term role until May 2026. 

 

THE POSITION AND THE TEAM 

 

HEINEKEN Hungary is part of the first wave of HEINEKEN’s biggest business and technology transformation program ever. One crucial element of this program is to establish a new level of data governance and implement a common enterprise data model. 

 

We are looking for a Data Steward who, reporting directly to the Data Manager, will be responsible for managing the data standardization processes and the control flow related to data entry, supporting the organization and the main activities in Data Management.  

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

 

You will ensure the integrity of high quality data at Heineken Hungary in order to drive accurate analysis, business insights and data-driven decision making; ensure data is understood, used and shared effectively. 

 

  • Implement and maintain Heineken global data standards and processes 
  • Analyze unalignments based on Data Quality Dashboard 
  • Participate in the data standardization project to align the existing data in the existing IT solutions with the defined global standards.  
  • Lead DMW (Data Migration Workbench) cleansing efforts within the project: perform on-going assessment and monitoring of compliance to data quality standards in OpCo. 
  • Support Business Analysts and Project Managers in defining data architectures within application projects, in order to ensure compliance with standards 
  • Analyze and assess the impacts and risks associated with data changes 
  • Monitor the state of the data and compliance with standards, identifying the gaps to be filled and proposing interventions and actions to improve the quality of the data 
  • Monitor data quality through specific metrics, identifying and correcting anomalies to ensure that data is always reliable and valid for analysis. 
  • To act as a point of reference for business users regarding the interpretation, meaning and correct use of data, also providing training and guidelines for its correct manipulation. 
  • Manage relationships with Data Owners and Data Domain Experts to align them on the progress of the standardization process 
  • Resolve data management issues for the OpCo and escalate problems where necessary to the data quality lead 
  • Participate in the HeinekenData Community, sharing and implementing best practices. 
  • Catalogue and maintain terminology into business glossary 

 

WHO ARE YOU:

 

  • You have Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Engineering, Information Technology or related field
  • You have good analytical and data management capabilities 
  • You have knowledge of Data Management tools (Data Governance and Data Quality e.g. Collibra, Ataccama)  
  • You have excellent knowledge of EXCEL and the O365 
  • You have knowledge of SAP master data 
  • It is an advantage if you have Mendix knowledge
  • It is an advantage if you have knowledge of Power BI and Data Warehouse  
  • You have strong result orientation, taking ownership of activities 
  • You have excellent Problem-Solving Skills 
  • You have the ability to develop and propose scenarios based on risk/benefit analysis in a constantly evolving context to support data quality improvement 
  • You have a proactive approach 
  • You have good level of English 
  • You have good communication skills 
  • You are a real team player
