Senior Manager Supply Chain Optimization

About the Role:
Heineken USA Operations aims at strategically supporting business growth and delivering value through the operational execution of supply chain activities. The role exists in a performance driven culture that requires a highly analytical mind-set and advanced ability to problem solve and a drive to implement strategic improvements. This role will conduct a comprehensive analysis of the supply chain processes and key performance indicators in order to steer a continuous improvement culture on the team.  

 

Key Responsibilities

 

1.Continuous Improvement
•Drive continuous improvement and set the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) approach to identify and eliminate loss and waste within supply chain 
•Develop the strategy with internal global resources to promote and advance TPM maturity 
•Grown the TPM maturity score, aiming to Bronze and Silver levels
•Participate in the global community of TPM Managers and re-apply best practices from other OpCos
•Partner with supply chain and cross functional stakeholders to lead teams and drive process improvements to the physical flow of goods and information end to end
•Coach and train the team on TPM methodology, tools and best practice integration
•Utilize relevant business tools and act as a subject matter expert to drive improvements 
•Identify opportunities to drive and support continuous improvement 
•Conduct loss deployments to find failure modes and conduct and arrive at root cause 
•Promote and pursue development and implementation of best practices and effective processes
•Drive a performance management culture through continuous improvement to achieve business results 

 

2.Digitalization and Insights Integration
•Enable better and faster E2E decision making, supported by digitization
•Unlock the potential of data sources outside HUSA i.e. distributors, retailers, vendors, LSP’s, etc and leverage for better end to end visibility
•Advance data digitalization agenda to promote visibility to relevant insight generation
•Responsible for a digitalization data management strategy for supply chain team to integrate multiple data flows from internal and external sources to support the team
•Support and/or build tools in collaboration with technology teams from identifying business requirements, executing data solutions, facilitating user adoption and training user community 
•Create and/or maintain data models, visualizations and dashboards to monitor KPI’s
•Lead project teams on digitalization improvement and facilitate user adoption of new tools
•Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve any critical issues impacting the business and sustainable tools to monitor, identify root causes and systematically eradicate waste

 

3. Supply Chain Network Design, Modelling and Optimization
•Evaluate network design models to build a competitive supply chain network and optimize for service, cost, and quality 
•Perform significant data mining and analysis to assess the network for optimization opportunities
•Develop scenarios and cost models that can be translated into execution plans
•Monitor logistics market factors and propose changes distribution footprint accordingly
•Benchmark the current supply chain against the competitive set for risk and opportunity analysis
•Analyze and illustrate current and future workflows through process mapping
•Integrate sustainability and “green” supply chain practices into future plans
•Manage stakeholders for implementation complexity  and impacts analysis

 

4. Project Management
•Lead short and mid-range improvement projects
•Project manage agreed with responsibility from initiation to execution
•Responsible for modelling, planning, tracking progress towards achieving key milestones and deliverables 
•Facilitate the review and identification of the processes and systems through collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
•Communicate plans effectively with key stakeholders and senior leadership throughout the project life cycle of the project

 

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
The role requires a driven and analytically minded professional with these necessary capabilities to ensure the successful delivery of the role requirements and deliver sustainable business value.
•Educated to Degree Level (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business, Finance or relevant subject)
•Extensive knowledge of project management and continuous improvement (, TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, Project Management certification)
•7+ years’ experience in Operations / Supply Chain/ Manufacturing/Business  within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG)/Alcohol Industry
•Advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint Skills 
•SAP experience, a plus
•IBF and/or APICS Certification, a plus

•Ability to demonstrate thought leadership to identify opportunities and implement solutions
•Strong project management and executional skills to meet deliverables

•Ability to explain communicate process and results in clear concise communications
•Capability translate complex data into accessible information
