Regional Finance Manager

About the Role:
The Regional Sales Finance Manager is a key position within the Heineken USA Finance Team; ensuring effective business partnering, and business decision making, through good understanding of the commercial processes. Support the Regional Sales Finance Directors and Regional Sales Teams. Increase shareholder value for HEINEKEN by setting and supporting delivery of challenging financial and non-financial targets in the area of Sales within an effective and robust financial control environment.
 
Key Responsibilities: 
• Pricing & Revenue Management
  o Price Strategy Execution, including customer/stakeholder communications related to price promotion management systems, changes and policies
  o Develop/Review/Submit/Communicate changes to Pricing for Weekly Promotional Activity, New Item pricing set-up and Normal FOB Changes 
  o Plan, monitor and track the company’s promotional spend budget, providing insights and calling out areas of improvement or risk
  o Oversee Price Promotion Calendars, including resolution of any transactional disputes with distributors 
  o Provide insights and escalation of local market, price related issues
  o Ensure compliance with Revenue Management guidelines and practices, local trade rules
  o Partner Regional Leadership, Zone, and HQ teams to ensure pricing is accurate and timely 
• Performance Reporting, Insights & Analytics
  o Validate monthly region/zone P&L 
  o Analyze and provide insights on monthly P&L trends by region & zone; provide detailed insights on net revenue
  o Develop/Refresh/Validate monthly commercial and travel budget reporting/dashboards vs. Plan / Prior Year and communicate to region sales, region marketing & region national sales
  o Identify financial risks & opportunities versus plan and validate with region sales, region marketing & region national sales prior to monthly Business Performance Review
  o Support post promotional and post commercial ROI Analysis for region sales, region marketing & region national sales commercial spend.  Develop recommendations and counter financial measures for region sales and region national sales to assess and execute
• Special Projects & Trainings
  o Develop Analysis and Review with sales leaders ahead of General Price Increase by State/Distributor.  Perform post price increase duties (Calendar Updates and Pricebook Review)
  o Manage transition to automated discount system for remaining distributors
  o Perform Bi-Monthly Cognos and Pricing Tools Refresher for new and existing sales team members
 
Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in Business Administration required: Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or Finance preferred
• Functional expertise: 2+ years of related commercial, industry experience with demonstration of analytic and information driven experiences
• Experience with information systems and related tools for staging and deploying information
• Finance experience (business math/economics) preferred
• Proven commercial/business Affinity
• Challenger mindset approach
• Attention to detail, accuracy and ability to manage multiple data sources
• Excellent written and verbal communicator at all levels
• Advanced Excel and Power Point skills required
• English speaking skills
• Experience in CPG pricing management preferred
