Manager Supply Chain Optimization

About the Role:

Heineken USA Operations aims at strategically supporting business growth and delivering value through the operational execution of supply chain activities. The role exists in a performance driven culture that requires a highly analytical mind-set and advanced ability to problem solve and a drive to implement strategy. This role will be part of a team and will conduct a comprehensive analysis of the supply chain costs and processes in order to improve performance. They will be responsible for analysis and helping with loss deployments and short-term projects improving performance across the Operations Team touching all pillars of supply chain: Planning, Warehousing, Logistics, Customer Service.

This role will be responsible for to ensure compliance of BCS – global KPI management tool monthly.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analytics and Problem Solving
  • Help with optimization of identified strategic metrics and processes to enable performance improvement
  • Leverage TPM techniques / continuous improvement methodologies to identify and prioritize waste reduction opportunities
  • Assist in recommending potential operational improvements and efficiency opportunities
  • Conduct historical analysis, identify trends, and convert into insights and recommendations to influence future business initiatives
  • Manage and continually improve cost to serve data outputs from an analytics point of view
  • Build presentations explaining data analysis and recommendations
  • Assist with presentations and workshops related to analysis and provide detailed recommendations to OLT; being able to field questions and provide sound reasoning and logic behind recommendations
  • Be able to conduct analytics in excel but also open to using new platforms such as Palantir
  1. Project Management
  • Project manage improvement projects from initiation to execution
  • Model, plan, and track progress against key milestones and project deliverables
  • Review, identify processes, practices, and systems improvements
  • Communicate plans effectively with key stakeholders throughout the project
  • Assist with creating a pipeline of potential improvement projects
  • Roadmap enhancements and projects to ensure evaluation and implementation
  • Report out to operational leadership team progress of projects
  • Recommend strategies based on data analysis
  • Be able to construct a cohesive story for the life cycle of the project
  1. Network Design and Optimization
  • Assist in evaluating network design and ensure competitive supply chain network
  • Perform data mining and analysis to assess the network for optimization opportunities
  • Create business case models for improvement or supply chain continuity
  • Conduct scenario planning exercises to determine optimal product sourcing locations and evaluate alternate product flows e.g. to alternate DPs (warehouses)

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

The role requires a driven and analytically minded professional with these necessary capabilities to ensure the successful delivery of the role requirements and deliver sustainable business value.

•          Educated to Degree Level (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business, Finance or other relevant subject)

•          3 – 5 years’ experience in Operations / Supply Chain within the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) /

Alcoholic Beverage Industry

•          Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint Skills, Power BI and Palantir – a plus

•          SAP experience, a plus

•          IBF, APICS and Lean Six Sigma, Total Productive Management, Continuous Improvement Certification, a plus

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000 + Annual Bonus
  • Benefits - Medical/Dental/Vision + Matching 401k Plan
