About the Role:    

This role is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of key procurement strategies across all spend areas in Commerce at Heineken USA.  In addition, lead in the support our global 3rd party compliance and risk management program, financial and analytics reporting requirements and Purchase to Pay activities.   Provide data and analytics to the Commerce Procurement team to enable them to drive effective use of budgets in the spend areas and continue to drive savings, value and further efficiencies.   Assist in the ongoing development of the company-wide procurement purchase to pay processes and partner with all levels of Commerce cross-functionally to build impactful, efficient and cost effective relationships.

• Optimize the aggregation, validation, analysis and reporting of US spend (Commerce) totaling $350M with 500 suppliers to uncover opportunities for category strategy development and savings.
• Take lead in systems, compliance and reporting functions for the Procurement group.
• Liaison with Business controllers to ensure accurate forecasting and budgeting.
• Execute process excellence in procurement controls across the functions and ensure compliance to global standards.
• Participate on regional Americas initiatives and manage the interface with Global Procurement in NL.

• Reporting – Periodical Analytics in varies areas
• Procurement Roadshows- Policies and Procedures
• Supplier Financing Program administration
• Monitoring and controls of key procurement processes


2. Manage projects to optimize efficiencies and to mitigate risk and support implementations that impact Procurement and their business partners across all functions within the company.


3. Liaise with Global and Americas Regional Procurement teams 
• Collaborate with regional and global Procurement teams on regional and global initiatives  representing Heineken USA requirements

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Business, or a related field 
• 2+ years of recent procurement experience,  
• Independent, self-motivated and results-oriented, including ability to prioritize several conflicting demands to achieve optimum performance while maintaining a sense of urgency.
• Ability to identify and cultivate relationships with key stake holders, representing a broad range of functions and levels.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to speak clearly and express self in groups and one-to-one conversations. 
• Able to work with cross functional teams regardless of role or direct reporting line
• Demonstrated consistency and attention to detail; possesses high level of organization and strong focus on maintaining global standards and processes
• Project Management within the Procurement scope in order to execute and complete ad-hoc projects
• Computer Skills

        o Microsoft Office:  Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Project
        o Enterprise Resource Planning Software:  SAP
