Key Responsibilities:

Analytics and Systems:

  • Support the Director of Analytics & Data Science in developing analytics products that support the company’s objectives and deliver revenue-maximizing potential.
  • Support the development of predictive analytics capabilities and modelling to understand ROI on key commercial drivers
  • Partner across the sales, marketing, and finance to embed analytics products into the organization


Measure and Report Business Performance:

  • Build and maintain reports to monitor business performance; automate data refresh processes
  • Support reporting and analytics needs of the marketing and sales organizations, including KPI reporting and planning
  • Lead data quality management and governance to ensure alignment across all platforms
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders on topics including results, changes, and system/data issues


Business Analytics Champion:

  • Help implement the data analytics vision of better decision support through an ROI mindset
  • Leverage centralized capabilities to drive efficiencies


Key Stakeholders:

  • HUSA Commercial Teams
  • HUSA Finance Business Partners
  • External: VIP, IDIG


Basic Qualifications/Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (i.e. Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or Engineering) required, Master’s a plus
  • Functional expertise: 3-5+ years’ experience with relational databases, developing logic-based insights, and presenting these insights to stakeholders
  • Experience in CPG / Retail preferred
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView
  • Proficient in leveraging analytical languages and tools (e.g. Python, R, SQL, Alteryx, SAS)
  • Excellent computer skills (Word, PowerPoint and Excel expertise a must)
