About the Role:


We are looking for a person who has a passion for brands and is willing to roll their sleeves up and learn by doing to take the #1 Mexican Brand on Draft to the next level of growth.  The role covers the exciting opportunity to support the growth of the Dos Equis brand, in particular in the Sunbelt States where we are facing strong competition, supporting the team to make Dos Equis a culturally relevant brand again.

This role is a First Stage Brand Management role where you will immerse yourself in the world of Mexican beers and line extensions and learn all the elements of Brand Management from a large core brand turnaround to small brand fundamental growth drivers.  

In this role you will have full participation in the brand team’s activities and assist the Director in the development of key brand programs that deliver the annual plan.  You will gain experience of program development from brief to execution via supporting the Director in a complete through the line program.  You will be responsible for managing the execution of specific promotional programs -in collaboration with channel teams and regional marketing-, and will have a specific focus on monitoring business & programming performance. You will also support and lead the development of a variety of innovation projects from new SKU’s to flavor developments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Brand Director in executing the annual brand plan
  • Contribute to grow the brand by supporting pricing, innovation, sales tools and promo plans in market.
  • Manage day-to-day brand budget, including the processing and payment of pre-approved invoices and monthly reporting of the state of the budget, and acting as liaison between Brand and Finance teams.
  • Drive the turnaround & focus on Ambar variant, liaising with key market stakeholders & introducing innovations
  • Act as key guardian of brand visual identity through liaison with regional marketing to develop Below the Line (BTL) brand activation in key markets
    • Primarily through sampling programs, POS, and locally relevant promotions.
    • Work with key stakeholders: internal & external agency partners, national sales and regional marketing teams.
  • Support Senior Brand Managers on reporting back to the regional team on key insights and driving actions to ensure brand business delivery.
  • Support Director with conversion driving tactics to accelerate e-commerce presence on key social & third party parent platforms
  • Manage execution and communication of programs through the commercial marketing planning process:  
    • Coordinate the development of promotional consumer concepts and creative.
    • Manage online ordering tool
    • Development of sell stories for each program
  • Gain, share, and leverage on-going understanding of the beer business, channels, retail trade.
  • Become an expert on our consumers, their lifestyle and their most relevant cultural passion points (College sports, entertainment, Pop Culture), and how that applies to driving our business.



Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 2+ years Brand Marketing, Regional Marketing or Promotions/Commercial Marketing experience
  • Proven track record of project management experience.
  • Expertise on analytical tools and smart use of data.





Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of the beverage industry or CPG preferred.
  • Sales/Agency experience
